Revitalising Britain’s towns: Marks and Spencer, Boots, Sainsbury’s

Having already forged strong working relationships in marketing and communication with Britain’s leading retailers, House brought together Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s, Boots, and a string of local authorities and town councils to tackle the challenge of the decline of Britain’s High Streets. Over 10 years of involvement, we delivered a progressive range of initiatives from touring public events with 250,000 visitors, to practical design guides for parking, as well as a national curriculum-recognised schools education programme.

“Over a ten year period House worked with me to galvanise board level commitment from Britain’s leading retailers including my own at M&S and partners Sainsbury’s and Boots, to address the issue of economic decline in our high streets. It was a partnership which led directly to the development of Town Centre Management as a must have initiative in towns across the UK and abroad”
