RTPI

For a century the Royal Town Planning Institute has provided leadership in promoting high standards and best practice in planning the UK’s towns and cities. RTPI approached House to develop an identity for a conference that would articulate its new vision for planning. We developed a concept using the geometry of the ‘golden ratio’, to represent the relationship of art and science in planning. The infinitely scalable logo reflected the different environments in which planners operate-locally, regionally and nationally. The identity was adopted by the Institute at corporate level and is still in use 20 years later, which is proof that good design lasts.

“By understanding and interpreting our values, House has helped the RTPI to both image and articulate its new Vision for Planning”
